2026 Guest Rules & ATV Regulations

A friendly guide to help everyone enjoy a safe, clean, and welcoming stay.

Check-in, Check-out & Payment

  • Check-in is 2:00 pm; check-out is 11:00 am

  • All camping fees must be paid before parking on your site

  • No refunds for weather; refunds require one week’s notice

  • Seasonal campers must confirm payment by May 15

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before arrival receive a refund minus the reservation fee and first night

  • Seasonal extras: $10 per tent/day; additional RVs require approval

  • Subletting campsites is not permitted

Vehicles & Parking

  • Drive slowly and watch for children, pets, and wildlife.

  • Park only in designated areas or within your campsite

  • Off-road driving is not permitted

ATV/OHV Rules

  • Operate safely and follow all provincial OHV laws.

  • No reckless driving, stunting, or excessive noise.

  • Slow down near campsites, pedestrians, and children.

  • Use only designated roads, trails, and access routes.

  • Do not ride through campsites, playgrounds, beaches, or pedestrian-only areas.

  • Stay on marked trails, park only in approved areas

Generators, Music & Noise

  • Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

  • Keep noise respectful at all times

  • Music must remain at a reasonable volume

  • Generator hours are 9–11 am and 6–8 pm

Campfires & Fire Safety

  • Use designated fire pits only

  • Never leave fires unattended

  • Fully extinguish fires before leaving or sleeping

  • Follow all fire bans and restrictions

Alcohol & Cannabis

  • Consumption is permitted only at your campsite

  • All provincial regulations apply

  • Fines may apply under applicable bylaws

Cleanliness, Waste & Wildlife

  • Keep your campsite tidy

  • Dispose of garbage in designated bins; recycle where available

  • Store food securely to avoid attracting wildlife

  • Do not feed wildlife; report concerning activity to staff

Facilities & Shared Areas

  • Keep washrooms and showers clean. • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Use playgrounds, docks, and trails responsibly

  • Follow posted rules for swimming and boating

Enforcement
  • Staff and MD #124 officers may issue warnings

  • Fines may apply under applicable bylaws

  • Serious or repeated violations may result in removal from the campground

Municipal Bylaws Also Apply

Municipal peace officers help us keep our campground a peaceful and safe retreat for everyone. Please be aware that fines may be applied under applicable local bylaws for non-compliance.

Guidelines for Dog Owners

We’re glad you and your furry companion are here. To keep our campground safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these commonsense dog-friendly guidelines.

Keep Your Dog Close

  • Dogs must be on a leash (2m or shorter) when outside your campsite

  • Keep your dog within your sight and under control at all times

  • Never leave dogs unattended — curiosity calls in the woods

Identification Helps Everyone

  • Dogs should wear a current municipal license and a visible ID tag

  • This ensures quick reunions if a dog wanders off exploring.

Be a Good Neighbour

  • Help keep the campground peaceful by preventing excessive barking

  • Aggressive behaviour toward people, pets, or wildlife isn’t allowed

  • Dogs designated as “dangerous” must follow all required safety measures

Dog-Free Zones

Dogs are not permitted in:

  • Playgrounds

  • Washrooms or shower buildings

  • Beaches or swimming areas (unless marked dog-friendly)

Scoop the Poop

  • Please pick up after your dog right away and use the waste bins provided

  • Clean grounds keep wildlife safe and trails enjoyable for everyone

Health & Safety First

  • Dogs must be healthy and up-to-date on rabies vaccinations

  • Never leave your dog in a hot vehicle or tied up in distressing conditions

At Your Campsite

  • Dogs must stay within your campsite boundaries unless leashed

  • Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets

Enforcement

We strive to keep the campground safe and enjoyable for everyone. Campground staff and municipal peace officers are authorized to ensure guidelines are followed.

Consequences for non-compliance may include:

  • A friendly warning

  • Fines under the MD's Animal Control Bylaw

  • Removal of the dog or the owner from the campground in serious or repeated cases
