Looking for a weekend getaway then this is your camp ground. Everyone here is super friendly. Washrooms are super clean. Great harbour for fishing and the best ice cream. You must try their wings, they are amazing. You might even get a glimpse of the northern lights

Awesome campground on the lake, sheltered harbour, great hosts and on site store which sold excellent (very large portions) of delicious ice cream, great value and would recommend.

Beautiful campground! The harbour was an added bonus that allowed us to keep our boat in the water the whole time we stayed. The bathrooms with running water and loonies showers were very clean. The site fit our 30ft rv with room to keep our boat trailer too. Power hookup was an added bonus! Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Canyon Creek near Slave Lake, AB. From the moment we arrived, the management was beyond welcoming — incredibly friendly, helpful, and truly committed to making sure everyone feels right at home. You can instantly tell this place is run with heart.

We stayed at this campground a few years ago and it was alright. Came back this year heard there was new management. What a fantastic weekend! Great management, so friendly, very welcoming and accommodating! Had a great watch party area set up to watch the Oilers game and a yummy pancake breakfast for free. Prices are so reasonable! We will definitely be coming back, keep up the fantastic work guys.

There for 10 mins & had our first fish on. The campground is nice, clean, and quiet. Will definitely be back. Very convenient location.

Great spot to camp with your family, great for fishing, nice and quiet, everyone there is nice and friendly, especially the guys running the Cefeteria, very warm and welcoming, prices are great as well.

We went for the Canada Day weekend. The owners/staff went out of their way to make sure everyone had an amazing time! We stayed in the no-service side of the park, and the sites were well-kept and large. We had an issue with the site we originally booked (too small for our tent trailer), and they switched us with no hassle or extra cost. The only downside is the train that comes through about twice a day at unpredictable times. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing experience at Canyon Creek. The caretakers are extremely kind and helpful. The sites are very scenic and adjacent to the lake. There are so many great options from large rvs to tents. We love this place.

Great place to relax during a long weekend. Staff are super friendly and amazing; harbour and boat launch are great and camp ground are well maintained. Recommended for anyone who wants to experience northern Alberta.

Very beautiful place to visit and to go fishing from. Camp ground is very beautiful as well. Showers and washrooms are very clean, and the staff are amazing people to deal with! I've been back to this place and would recommend it to everyone!

The staff are friendly. The site was awesome....big with trees and a beautiful fire pit to cook over. Very clean washroom and showers. It was a short walk to a good-sized beach and a lovely lake. I would highly recommend it.
